Back Country Tours is an outdoor adventure tour company located 2 hours north of Toronto in the Village of Haliburton, Ontario. Their “You Drive Adventures” were created to promote tourism in the beautiful region of Haliburton and Muskoka by encouraging people to head out of the city and explore the natural attractions Ontario has to offer in all terrain vehicles or snowmobiles for winter adventurers.

Their trained guides begin each tour by providing a lesson on how to safely drive the ATV or hummer or snowmobile. They teach you to respect the environment and to “tread lightly” so as to keep the trails in good condition for many more years to come.

ATV Overnight Camping Experience

If you’re looking for the ultimate one night camping adventure, Back Country Tours offers this once in a lifetime convoy of automatic ATVs driving across the great Canadian Shield through rivers, streams, brooks and valleys with family and/or friends! Drive on century old horse and wagon trails through deep woods conditions to reach your campsite by a natural spring-fed lake that can only be accessed by “all terrain” vehicles. Everyone from beginners to well seasoned campers are welcomed to join this exciting outdoor vacation adventure.

You’ll get to go where most Canadians never get to go…Deep into Haliburton’s back country forest. At the end of your first day you’ll enjoy some down time to do what you want like swimming, tanning, or enjoying some of the best fishing around!

So picture yourself with your partner, family or friends camping at the end of an exciting day in front of a lake under a blanket of stars by a roaring fire before you awake the next day to hit the trails again!

ATV Venture Deep into the Woods

If you’re looking for the ultimate outdoor adventure then ATVing is the fastest growing sport with one of the largest trail systems in Ontario, Haliburton has over 1,700km of AMAZING DEEP WOODS trails to offer outdoor enthusiasts. You and your family or friends can choose from easy scenic forest trails or more intermediate trails filled with mud bogs, river crossing steep hills, and one of a kind fault line terrain.

Lack experience, not a problem they begin each tour with a safety lesson on how to drive fully automatic ATVs. Helmet cam records your adventure… makes a great memento of your adventure. Helmet walkie talkies let you talk with your friends on the trails... NOW that’s COOL!

$65.00 per person for first hour
$60.00 per person for additional hours

Snowmobiling Holiday Adventure

Looking for a winter adventure? Try exploring Haliburton’s amazing trails on snowmobiles!

The tours are curtailed to your level of experience, which means that beginners and seasoned snowmobilers get the tour they’re looking for!

Price on Weekend 4 hr Snowmobile Tour:
$275.00 per skidoo (snowmobiles seat 2 people)
Price for Week Day 4 hr Snowmobile Tour:
$229.00 per skidoo (snowmobiles seat 2 people)
What’s included in your Tour:
A 4 hour rental of a * 2 seater 2007 Ski-doo-GTX 500ss with guide
Description of Skidoo: GTX offers riders an ultra protective suspension system which cradles the shocks of the trail and provides a smooth handling. It is described as the “ultimate cruising sled.”

Water - Yacht Cruise Adventure

A great way to see Haliburton is on the water! Pamper yourself with a yacht cruise on a pristine lake with great swimming, tanning, good fishing in a beautiful scenery.

Back Country Tours offers a unique and exciting ATV team building program that inspires people to put aside differences and to work together while having a whole lot of fun! It is a shared experience (for beginner and advanced ATV drivers) that creates a sense of unity, comradeship, and accomplishment (key ingredients for successful companies). Employees work together to overcome obstacles on a rugged yet beautiful landscape that varies from hills to wet lands to rivers that only Ontario’s Canadian Shield can offer in order to obtain a common goal—to safely and successfully reach the end of the trail as a group.
